Walter Lee Hoskin, Jr.
March 25, 1986 ~ June 18, 2025 (age 39)
Mr. Walter Lee Hoskin, Jr. was born as the first son of Walter Lee Hoskin, Sr. and LaDanna (Sanders) Hoskin on March 25, 1986, in South Bend, Indiana. Never one to meet a stranger, Walter embraced all those he encountered with a contagious smile and genuine love.
Walter attended Harrison Elementary, Navarre Middle and Washington High Schools in South Bend, Indiana. Walter was well-known on the Lakeside of South Bend as one of the Hachei boys alongside of his brothers Willie and Wayne. A few years after school, Walter met and married Liane C. Booker and began a family and shortly thereafter relocated California.
Determined to be a good provider for his family when the opportunity arose. Walter accepted a fishing marine job in Alaska. After completing the job in Alaska, Walter returned to California where he purchased acres of land. Walter enjoyed teaching his children survival skills on the land he had purchased.
Continuing and determined to be a good provider for his family, Walter relocated to Muncie, Indiana where he procured an employment opportunity with the Hitachi Astemo Corporation at entry level but was promoted to team lead within a short period of time during his employment with Hitachi Satemo.
Walter was preceded in death by his beloved mother, LaDanna (Sanders) Young, maternal grandmother Melton Troy Sanders Sr., paternal grandparents, Willie Ray and Florence Lee Hoskin and paternal uncle, Otha Mosgrove.
Survivors left to cherish his memory include his wife, Liane and their children, Waltiana, Waliyah, Walter lee Hoskin III, and Ahmaud Booker all of Muncie, Indiana. His father, Walter Lee Hoskin Sr. (South Bend, IN). Brothers, Willie Ray Hoskin (Muncie, IN) and Wayne DeWight Hiskin Sr. (South Bend, IN. Cousin/Brothers, Terence and Travis Johnson (South Bend, IN) and Torrey Johnson (Lancaster, CA). Maternal Grandmother, Mrs. Lucille Sanders (South Bend, IN). Maternal Aunt Alfreda (George) Howell, Maternal Uncles, Milton Troy Sanders Jr. and Kavin Sanders all of South Bend, IN. Paternal Aunts, Willie Jean Essick, Cynthia Donaldson, Barbara Williams, Marie Mosgrove Hairston (John) all of South Bend, IN and Connie (Michael John) of Oklahoma City, OK. Paternal Uncles Calvin Hoskin, Maurice Hoskin, Bernie Ellen) Hoskin all of South Bend, IN and Marko (Essence) Mosgrove (Marion, AR). A special niece, Wayniya Hoskin and a special nephew Wayne D. Hoskin Jr. both of South Bend, IN.
Special extended loving family members include David Young (Stepfather), South Bend, IN. Father-In-Law, john Booker (Santa Clarita, CA), Sisters-In-Law, Kaneesha Booker (Las Vegas, NV), Jahari Booker (Atlanta, GA) and Radhiya Booker (hoenix, AZ) and Brother-In-Law Darnell Booker (St. Louis, MO). Walter also leaves an abundance of friends and loved ones not listed who celebrated his life.
While our hearts are laden heavy with grief and our eyes are filled with endless tears, let us remember Walteezy with a forever love.
