Timotea R. “Timmy” (Rodriguez) Moreno

Timotea R. Moreno, 50, of 456 S. Kentucky St., died 6:15 a.m. Sunday in Memorial Hospital after an illness. Mrs. Moreno was employed by South Bend Community School Corp. as a counselor at Washington High School. She was born Jan. 24, 1941 in Donna, Texas. She lived in South Bend 40 years, coming from Donna.

On June 27, 1959, in South Bend, as Timotea Rodriguez, she married Domingo H. Moreno. He survives with two daughters, Brenda L. Moreno and Angela Beserra, both of South Bend; two sons, Daniel of San Juan Capistrano, Calif., and Roger of South Bend: four grandchildren: four sisters, Guadalupe DeLeon of South Bend, Maria Mireles and Maria Tovar, both of Weslaco, Texas, and Francisca Garcia of Lubbock, Texas; and five brothers, Candido Rodriguez of Donna, Candido Rodrigues Sr. of Weslaco, Senaido Rodriguez of Wisconsin, Juan Rodriguez of South Bend, and Alphonso Rodriguez of Indio Calif.

She was a member of St. Theresa Society of St. Stephen Catholic Church and Las Guadalupanas. Services will be at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday in the church. Burial will be St. Joseph Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 9 p.m. Tuesday in St. Joseph Funeral Home where a parish wake will be at 8 p.m. Tuesday.
