On May 2, 1961 in Chicago, Ill., Frank Davis, Jr. was born to the union of Frank and Ethel Lee (Noble) Davis, Sr.
Frank Jr. attended public school in Chicago and after moving to South Bend, Ind. in 1971, attended Washington High School. He worked as a self-employed construction laborer. As a believer in Christ, Frank attended both Saints Memorial Church of God in Christ and Bethlehem Baptist Church, where he was a member at the time of his death.
At 11:15 p.m. on Thursday, March 4, in Memorial Hospital, Frank Jr., 37, who resided at 113 South Meade Street, returned back to the ''Father God.''
He leaves to cherish his memory, his parents, Frank and Ethel Lee Davis, four sisters, Pamela (John) Coleman, Sherrell (Shannon) Winston and Kelli (Andrew) Howard, all of South Bend, and Tanya (Willard) Terry of Fort Sill, Okla., a brother, Harold Davis and sister-in-law, Phyllis Glover of Atlanta, Ga., aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and a companion of sixteen years, Julianna Chism of South Bend, along with other relatives and friends.
