SOUTH BEND - Orlando A. Bowens Jr., 26, a loving son, grandson, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin and friend to all whose lives he touched, departed this life Sunday, May 4, 2008.

Orlando was born on October 6, 1982, in South Bend, Indiana, to Bridgett Stevens and Orlando Bowens, Sr. Being a lifelong resident of South Bend, IN, and being raised on the West Side, he attended Harrison Elementary, Navarre Middle and Washington High School where he had a host of family and friends who will all cherish loving memories.

His avid love for sports, especially basketball and wrestling, is what he spent most of his time watching and playing. He participated in sports at Harrison, Navarre and Washington along with the Charles Black Center leagues
