Bernard O. Bibbs

Services for Bernard O. Bibbs, 30, of 102 S. Iowa St., who was shot to death Saturday at 505 E. Corby Blvd., will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Clark's Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery. Friends may call from 9 a.m. until the services Wednesday in the funeral home.

Mr. Bibbs was born Oct. 13, 1955, in South Bend, and was a lifelong area resident.

He is survived by a daughter, Charla Bibbs of South Bend; four sisters, Audrey Smith and Paulette Bibbs, both of South Bend, Wanda Cattleman of Denver and Sandra Xoldmon of Atlanta; a brother, Barry Bibbs of Atlanta; four half sisters, Tyonna Bibbs, Glenda Bibbs, Julette Bibbs and Janet Thompson all of South Bend; two half brothers, John Bowles and David Bowles, both of Chicago; his parents, Johnnie M. and John Bowles of South Bend; and his maternal grandmother Geneva Thornton of South Bend.

Mr. Bibbs was a 1974 graduate of Washington High School.
