South Bend - Thomas J. Reiter, 67, passed away at 3:10pm, Saturday, March 23, 2013 in the South Bend Hospice House. Thomas was born May 25, 1945 in South Bend, Indiana to the late Joseph and Gertrude (Jurgonski) Reiter.
Thomas is survived by 2 sons, Troy (Patti) Reiter of Orlando, FL, Derek J. Reiter of Santa Ana, CA; grandson, Wil Reiter of Sanford, FL; granddaughter, Ruby Reiter of Orlando, FL; sister, Pauline (Daniel) Nowicki of South Bend; 3 nephews, Craig (Mary Rose) Nowicki of South Bend, Todd Nowicki of Bristol, IN, and nephew, Jim Nowicki of South Bend.
Thomas had retired from the AM General Corporation on June 1, 2012. He loved cars, motorcycles and spending time with friends. He loved dogs, especially Salukis. Thomas was also an active runner.
Visitation for Thomas will be held on Wednesday, March 27, 2013 from 10:00am to 12:00pm with a funeral service to follow at 12:00pm in ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower Rd. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.
