Richard Allen Jerzak

Richard Allen Jerzak, 61, of South Oliver Street, South Bend, Ind., died unexpectedly on Friday, Sept.10, in the family home.

Richard was born on May 19, 1943, in South Bend, to Joseph and Florence (Dabros) Jerzak, who preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Donald Jerzak.

He is survived by two daughters, Julie (Michael) Edwards and Lisa Gibbons; and a son, Richard A.(Mia) Jerzak Jr., all of Fort Worth, Texas; three grandchildren, Ashley James, Katelyn Edwards and Jason J. Jerzak, all of Fort Worth; one great-grandson, Jeremiah James of Fort Worth; two sisters, Beverly Sieczko of South Bend and Esther Booth of Auburn, Mass.; and two brothers, William (Mary) Jerzak and Marian (Alice) Jerzak, both of Lansing, Mich.

Friends may call on Monday, Sept. 13, one hour prior to the service which will be held at 2 p.m. in Morning Star Funerals & Cremations, 21275 W. Cleveland Road, South Bend. The Reverend Harold Walker will be officiating the service.
