Jack E. Finch Ill

Jack E. Finch Ill, age 21, of 23rd Street in South Bend, Ind., passed away on Feb. 26, 2000, in South Bend. Jack was born on July 9, 1978, to Jack E Finch Jr. and Cindy (Scott) Finch.

Jack attended Washington High School in South Bend and was employed by Steel Warehouse as a metals worker.

Surviving relatives are his companion, Erin Roe and his daughter, Hannarae Marie Roe of South Bend; his father, Jack E. Finch, Jr. of Mishawaka; his mother, Cindy Young and her husband, Jack, of South Bend; a brother, Daniel Finch of South Bend; a sister, Heather Connelly and her husband, John of Elkhart; his maternal grandmother, Madalyn Scott of South Bend; his paternal grandfather, Jack E. Finch, Sr. of Mishawaka; his paternal grandmother, Gail Holmes of South Bend; step-grandparents, Jack and Alice Young of South Bend; his great- mother, Violet Jergenson of South Bend; and a niece, Caitlyn Ann Finch of Elkhart; as well as his uncles and aunts, Charlotte Pittman of Nappanee, Carol Phipps, Robert Scott of South Bend, Richard Scott of Mishawka, and Candi Wilkinson and Gwen Stines, both residing in Granger.

Jack was preceded in death by his grandfather, George Scott in 1998.

Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 29 in Chapel Hill Funeral Home, Osceola. Services will be officiated by Rev. David Hendricks at 11 1 a.m. on Wednesday, March 1, in Chapel Hill Funeral Home, with interment to follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola. Donations in Jack's name may be made to Hospice of St. Joseph County
