Christmas was always very special to him. He always made it magical from hanging his Christmas tree from the ceiling so he could swing and spin the tree just to see the sparkle and magic in his grandchildren’s eyes. Memories we will all cherish. Andrew also had a special place in his heart for Donnie Kurzhal, whom he thought of as a second son, and a great part of our family. They loved each other dearly.

Andy will be truly missed by his children, grandchildren, family and friends. His children, David and Diane, wish to express many thanks to everyone who took care of their Dad from Hospice and the Sterling House staff who always made him feel comfortable. Dearest Dad:
God saw you were getting tired
And cure was not to be
So He put His arms around you
And whispered, “Come with Me”
With tearful eye we watched you suffer
And saw you fade away.
Though we loved you dearly
We could not make you stay.
A golden heart stopped beating.
Hard-working hands at rest.
God broke our hearts to prove to us
He only takes the best.
