Richard Allen Hardman

Richard A. Hardman, 59, passed away on Monday, July 29, 2024, at his home in New Carlisle.
Richard was born in South Bend on May 26, 1965 to Shirley (Wroblewski) Hardman and John Hardman. He had attended Washington High School. He worked as a truck driver for Butternut Bread, Aunt Millie’s, and retired from Borden Waste-Away. He was a member of St. Stanislaus Kostka Catholic Church in New Carlisle.
Richard enjoyed watching football with his favorite teams being the Cleveland Browns and the Jacksonville Jaguars. He loved chocolate, especially Orange Peels. He enjoyed playing Poker, Euchre, and darts. He enjoyed going to Linebacker Lounge to spend time with friends and watch Notre Dame games. He also loved spending time with his grandchildren, especially at Yogi Bear Campground in Fremont.
Left to cherish the memories of Richard are his father, John Hardman of South Bend; daughter, Leah K. Hardman of Granger; son, Derek Hardman and companion Deanna of South Bend; brother, Chris Hardman and wife Ann of Angola; sister, Kathy Henderson and husband Jim of New Carlisle; brother, Mike Hardman of South Bend; sister, Lynne Hardman of South Bend; grandchildren, Emery, Bentley, Kyanna, and Kason; former wife, Tracey Landuit of Granger; former wife, Robin Hardman of South Bend including her three children; and several nieces and nephews.
Richard was preceded in death by his mother and a sister-in-law, Pam Hardman.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am, Friday, August 2, 2024 at St. Stanislaus Kostka Catholic Church, 55756 Tulip Road in New Carlisle. Burial will immediately follow in St. Joseph Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family from 10:00 am – 11:00 am, one hour prior to the Mass at the church on Friday.
