Carol Hummel (Kovacevich)
November 23, 1958 – July 19, 2022
Carol Lynn Kovacevich (Hummel), 65, of Mishawaka, passed away on Friday, July 19, 2022. Carol was born November 23, 1958, in South Bend to the late Millard and Catherine (Babinski) Hummel. On April 23, 1977, in South Bend Carol married Richard “Big Rick” Kovacevich. He preceded her in death on November 6, 2022. Carol was also preceded in death by her daughter, Stacey Kovacevich; her parents, and her brother, Ernie Hummel.
Carol is survived by their son, Dana Richard (Lindsey) Kovacevich of South Bend, her grandsons, Bradley Rome Kovacevich and Jhett Alexander Kovacevich and her sisters, Naomi and Melissa Hummel.
Carol was self-employed for many years as a housekeeper in the Michiana area.
Friends may visit with the family on Friday, July 26, 2024, from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. in Hahn Funeral Home, located at 505 w 8th Street Mishawaka. A Memorial Service will be held at 7:00 P.M. in the funeral home. To leave the family an online condolence, visit hahnfuneralhomes.com.
