Patricia Ann (Rodick) Mead
Particia Ann Mead, 80, peacefully passed away on Tuesday, August 29, 2023. Patricia was born on April 29, 1943 to the late Nickolis Rodick and Dorothy (Martynowicz) Rodick. Along with her parents, Patricia was preceded in death by her siblings, Marie Dorn, Barbara Zwierzynski, Michael Rodick, Richard Rodick, and Tommy Rodick.
Left to cherish the memory of Patricia is her loving husband of 58 years, Barry Mead; children, Barry Mead II and Patrick (Angela) Mead; grandchildren, Caleb, Evan, and Mason; and siblings, David (Cindy) Rodick, Cathy (Joseph) Przysbyz, and Brenda (Mark) McCammon.
Patricia was an avid reader, often devouring multiple books in a single day, her thirst for knowledge and love for stories was truly remarkable. Patricia also had a deep love for the outdoors. She was a regular on the golf course, where her competitive spirit and love for the game shone brightly. Her love for the sun and the beach was unparalleled, often spending her days soaking up the sun and enjoying a good book.
Patricia's adventurous spirit led her to frequent flea markets, where she loved the thrill of finding hidden treasures. She also found joy in visiting casinos, where she would immerse herself in the vibrant atmosphere and excitement of the games. Patricia's zest for life, her love for learning, and her adventurous spirit will be deeply missed. Her memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
Visitation for Patricia will be on Tuesday, September 5, 2023 from 11:00am to 1:00 pm with a Funeral Service to be held at 1:00pm at Brown Funeral Home, Niles. Burial will immediately follow at Mission Hills Memorial Cemetery, 61453 M-51, Niles, MI 49120. Arrangements have been entrusted to Brown Funeral Home, Niles.
