Rita M. (Wroblewski) Mielcarek

Rita M. Mielcarek, 66, of Kathy Drive, South Bend, Ind., died at 12:45 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 23, in Memorial Hospital. She was born May 1, 1935, in South Bend, and was the daughter of Sylvester and Mary (Kush) Wroblewski.

On May 1, 1954, as Rita M. Wroblewski, she married Chester Mielcarek. She is survived by a daughter, Nancy Kalka of South Bend, a son, Tim Mielcarek, and a grandchild, Matthew Kalka, all of South Bend.

Family and friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. today in the ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower Road, where a Rosary will be said at 7 p.m. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday in Holy Family Catholic Church, with burial to follow at St. Joseph Cemetery
