Buddy Dee Moore

Buddy Moore, 52, of 1314 Goodland Ave., died at 10:25 a.m. Sunday in St. Joseph's Medical Center, South Bend, of injuries suffered about 7 p.m. Saturday when he was hit by a car on Edison Road near Ivy Road. Dr. Michael O'Connell, deputy coroner, ruled that Mr. Moore died of a skull fracture and brain damage suffered in the accident.
Mr. Moore was employed at AM General. He was born July 27, 1934, in Mishawaka, and was a lifelong area resident.
He is survived by two brothers, William of South Bend and Robert of San Francisco; a stepsister, Raeann Wonack of LaPorte; a stepbrother, Robert Overmyer of LaPorte; and his mother, Mary Overmyer of South Bend.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in St. Joseph Funeral Home. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola. Friends may call from noon until 9 p.m. today in the funeral home.
He was a member of Mishawaka Eagles.
