SOUTH BEND - Barbara J. Sobierajski, 73, passed away on Saturday, August 1, 2009, at 9:15 p.m. in Noblesville, IN. Barbara was born on August 5, 1935, in South Bend, to the late Paul and Gladys (Piotrowski) Lukavich. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Paul Lukavich; and by her sister, Christine Lukavich.

She is survived by her two sons, Michael (Kimberly) Sobierajski of Plainfield, IL, and Brent (Ann) Sobierajski of Noblesville, IN; four grandchildren; and by her brother, Jerry (Kathy) Lukavich of Springfield, MO.

Barbara worked for Robertson's Department Store, and then did clerical work for Cloud Brothers after Robertson's closed.
