Marion D. "Jag" Jagmin, Jr., 65, of Rue Renoir Street in South Bend, IN, passed away at 12:00 a.m. Saturday, May 19, 2001 in Ironwood Health and Rehabilitation Center, South Bend. He was born on November 10, 1935 to the late Marion Jagmin, Sr. and Balbina (Kruk) Jagmin in South Bend, IN, and was a lifelong resident.

On September 7, 1957, he married Barbara J. Jurek. She survives; along with four daughters, Cynthia A. Jagmin of Plano, TX; Janine M. Jagmin of Redondo Beach, CA; Kelly A. Vargo and Beth A. Will, both of Mishawaka, IN; three sons, Christopher D. Jagmin of Boston, MA; Gregory A. Jagmin of Chicago, IL; Jeffrey A. Jagmin of Puyallup, WA; four grandchildren, Jessica Jagmin of Kauai, Hawaii; Alex and Abbie Vargo, both of Mishawaka, IN; Zoe Will of Mishawaka, IN; one sister, Christine (husband James) Frydrich of South Bend, IN.

Mr. Jagmin was a Marine Veteran of the Korean War.

Cremation has taken place. Friends may call from 3:00 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 22, 2001, in KANIEWSKI, FUNERAL HOME, 3545 N. Bendix Drive, South Bend, IN. A Memorial Service will be held at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 22, 2001 in the funeral home, with Rev. Bernard Galic officiating.
