SOUTH BEND - Matthew B. Griffin, 57, of 1241 E. Miner St., died at 3:50 p.m. Tuesday in St. Joseph's Medical Center. Mr. Griffin was born Nov. 3, 1932, in Sunflower County, Miss., and lived in South Bend since 1942, coming from Boyle, Miss.

He is survived by two brothers, Hampton Griffin of South Bend and John Griffin of Louisville, Ky.; and a sister, Daisy Burns of Markham, Ill.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday in Clark's Funeral Chapel. Burial will be at Highland Cemetery. Friends may call two hours before services on Saturday in the funeral home.
