SOUTH BEND - Thelma Marie Johnson, 65, of Maywood, Ill., formerly of South Bend, died Friday in Maywood.

Survivors include a daughter, Marie Johnson-Carlise; three sons, Ronald, Nathaniel and Pierre; two sisters, Frances Lee and Shirley Tatum, both of Maywood; and two brothers, Marshall Phillips of South Bend and Robert Phillips. Services will be at 11 a.m.

Friday in the J.W. James Memorial A.M.E. Church, Maywood. Friends may call from 1 to 9 p.m. today at Wallace Funeral Home, Breadview, Ill.

and one hour before services in the church. Alford's Mortuary is handling local arrangements.
