Erma A. (Albey) Rzepnicki

August 27, 1921 - April 28, 2005 

Erma A. Rzepnicki, 83, of South Bend, IN, passed away at 2:45 a.m., Thursday, April 28, 2005, in Holy Cross Care and Rehabilitation Center. Erma was born on August 27, 1921, in South Bend, to Anthony and Agatha (Pusztai) Albey.

She was employed by the former Studebaker Corporation, where she worked at the Aviation Plant. She was also a dance instructor at the Marie Buczkowski School of Dance.

On April 27, 1943, in the former St. Stephen's Church, as Erma A. Albey, she married Edmund A. Rzepnicki, who survives. Also surviving are her daughter, Tina L. Rzepnicki, and her husband, Barry Rapoport, of Miller Beach, IN and Chicago, IL, where Tina is a professor at the University of Chicago; her two grandchildren, Erin and Andrew Rapoport; and her granddog, Toulei.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m., Monday, May 2, 2005, in Holy Cross Church. Friends may call from 4 until 8 p.m. Sunday in the Kaniewski Funeral Home, 3545 N. Bendix Drive
