Elaine J. (Wroblewski) Jurgonski

SOUTH BEND - Elaine J. Jurgonski, 82, passed away on Thursday, August 20, 2009, at 7:45 a.m. in her home with her husband by her side. Elaine was born on May 6, 1927, in South Bend, to the late Walter and Pearl (Bonczyski) Wroblewski. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Delphine Arndt.

On June 21, 1947, in St. Casimir Catholic Church, she married Edwin Jurgonski, who survives along with their two children, Kathleen (Stephan) Passwater of Rolling Prairie, IN, and Lawrence (Paula) Jurgonski of Noblesville, IN; five grandchildren, Lisa, Stephan Jr., Cara, Jennifer and Craig; nine great-grandchildren; and by her two sisters, Georgian Vargo of South Bend and Rosemarie Polonka of Elkhart.

She was a parishioner of St. Adalbert Catholic Church and St. Vincent De Paul
