Evelyn M. (Trzaskowski) Sawyer

NEW CARLISLE — Evelyn M.Sawyer, 82, passed away on June 11, 2009, at 6:20 p.m.in Hamilton Communities, New Carlisle. Evelyn was born on November 27, 1926, in South Bend, to the late Vince and Nellie (Libertowski) Trask. On May 20, 1972, she married James Sawyer in Niles, MI, and he passed away on November 3, 1997.She was also preceded in death by her brother, Thomas Trask in 1979. She is survived by her son, Gary Hageniers of Mishawaka;grandson, Kris Hageniers;two great-grandsons, Conner and Robert Hageniers;and by her sister, Betty Greenlee of Granger, IN.

Evelyn worked as a cashier for Chrysler Dealership before she retired in 1993.

A funeral liturgy will be celebrated at 10 a.m.on Thursday, June 18, 2009
