Edward V. Sobecki Sept 27, 1927-April 5, 1993 SOUTH BEND - Edward V. Sobecki, 65, of South Kenmore Street, died at 1:11 p.m. Monday in his home after an illness. Mr. Sobecki retired as a meatcutter from Weisser Meat Market and was former co-owner of Sal Langner Market. He was bom Sept. 27, 1927, in South Bend. On June 3, 1950, in South Bend, he married Geraldine R. Martynowicz.

She survives with a daughter, Sharon Toth of Mishawaka; two sons, Kenneth of Niles and Gregory of Granger; eight grandchildren; five sisters, Clara Radzwil, Gertrude Harlozinski and Loretta Maure, all of South Bend, Ann Bryant of Mentone, and Emily Williams of Stringer, Miss.; and a brother, Benedict of South Bend.

He was a member of St. Casimir Catholic Church and its Holy Name Society, St. Josephs Young Mens Society and Polish National Alliance Lodge 83.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the church. Entombment will be in Resurrection Gardens Mausoleum, St. Joseph Cemetery.
