Richard E. Pacay

Richard E. Pacay, 37, of 61586 Oak Rd., died at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Nov 16, 1965, in St. Joseph's Hospital after an illness of nine months. He was the manager of Roseland Lumber Co.

Born on April 9, 1928, in South Bend, he is survived by his widow, the former Dorothy Popielski, whom he married on April 21, 1948. Also surviving are two daughters, Rebecca Ann and Constance Louise, both at home.

Friends may call after 7 p.m. Thursday in the St. Joseph Funeral Home. Services will be at 9 a.m. Saturday in St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church, Rev. Martin Horvath, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery. He was a menber of the South Bend Turners Club, Home Builders Assn. of St. Joseph Valley and the National Assn. of Home Builders. The rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home by members of the Parent Teachers Assn. and at 7 p.m. Friday by members of the parish. Donations may be made to the St. Mary of the Assumption School Fund
