SOUTH BEND Frank A. Ogorek, 66, of 1117 Mynatt Court, died after an illness at 11:24 p.m. Friday at Memorial Hospital. Mr. Ogorek retired in 1986 from Bendix Corp. He was born Oct. 4. 1925, in South Bend, and was a lifelong area resident.

On July 31, 1954. in South Bend, he married Pauline Schenk. She survives with five daughters, Sheryll Opaczewski, Frances Jurek and Sally Arnold, all of South Bend, Paulette Rinehart of Rolling Meadows, Ill., and Cynthia Kanafel of Bremen; two sons, Frank W. and Fred A., both of South Bend: 14 grandchildren; six great- grandchildren; a sister, Patricia Sarabyn of South Bend; and three brothers. Robert of South Bend, Ervin of Chicago, and Don of Maple Valley, Wash.

He was a Marine Corps veteran of World War II.

He was a member of the Chain-O-Lakes Conservation Club. American Legion Pulaski Post 357, Disabled American Veterans Chapter 39, National Management Club, and the American Association of Retired Persons. Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Holy Family Catholic Church. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola.

Friends may call from 2 to 9 p.m. Monday at St. Joseph Funeral Home, where a rosary will be said at 7:30 p.m. Monday.
