Margaret Anna (Yuhas) Landesman

Margaret Landesman, age 93, passed away on January 11, 2021. She was born in South Bend, IN. She was a parishioner at Our Lady of Lourdes Church since moving to Slidell in 1962. She volunteered in the school cafeteria while her sons were attending Lourdes' elementary school.

She is survived by her four children, Diana (Steve), Russell, Robert, and Mark (Lisa). Also survived by two grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren, as well as her brother, Frank Yuhas.

Margaret enjoyed reading, cooking, and gardening. She also enjoyed making Christmas and Easter decorations while her children were growing up. She started work as a PBX operator in South Bend with her best friend, Mary Ann, and they kept up with each other through the years. After raising her children, she returned to work as a file clerk for orthopedic surgeons in New Orleans.

In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the Humane Society of Slidell. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 400 Westchester Pl, Slidell, LA. 70458 on Saturday, January 23, 2021 at 12:00 P.M.
