Gloria J. (Popielski) Kowalski

Gloria J.Kowalski, 76, of New Road, Bremen, Ind., passed away on April 15, in Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center. She was born on Aug.9, 1927, in South Bend, Ind., to Joseph and Pauline (Dudek) Popielski, who preceded her in death.On April 23, 1949, in South Bend, Gloria married Roman J.Kowalski, who passed away on Aug.30,1999.

Surviving Gloria are two daughters, Marcia (Kevin) Jebelian of North Liberty, Ind., Nancy (Nick) Schrader of South Bend;a son, Kenneth (JoAnn) Kowalski of Bremen; grandchildren, John Kowalski of Bremen, Ranay Reed of Rolling Prairie, Ind., Hannah Schrader of South Bend;and four great-grandchildren.

Gloria was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in Lakeville, Ind. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m.on Sunday, April 18, in ST.JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 1827 E.Ireland Road.A Rosary will be prayed at 3:30 p.m. Funeral services will be on Monday, April 19, at 2 p.m., in the funeral home. Burial will be at St.Joseph Cemetery, South Bend.
