SOUTH BEND Services for Mary L. Major, 70, of Finch Drive, who died at 5:40 a.m. Friday in Regency Place, will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in St. Jude's Catholic Church. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday in Thallemer-Goethals Funeral Home, Mishawaka, where a parish rosary will be said at 4 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society.
Mrs. Major was born March 22, 1926, in South Bend. On May 3, 1952, in South Bend, as Mary L. Koszyk, she married Alex A. Major. He died Nov. 16, 1994.
She is survived by a daughter, Susan M. Martin of Mattawan, Mich.; a son, Martin of Granger; a sister, Alice Ciesielski of Portage, Ind.; and five brothers, Cass Kosik, Bert Koszyk, John Koszyk, Ervin Koszyk and Joseph Koszyk, all of South Bend.
She was a member of Chippewa Bowl Senior Fun Club and the church.
