Theresa L. (Goralczyk) Schneider

Theresa L. Schneider, 61, of 937 Evergreen Lane, died at 5:10 a.m. today, Jan 7, 1988, in Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Schneider retired in August from the St. Joseph County Welfare Department. She was born Sept. 27, 1926, in South Bend, and was a lifelong area resident.

On June 22, 1946, as Theresa Goralczyk, she married Richard Goralski. He died in 1971. On July 14, 1973, she married Forrest Schneider, who survives. Also surviving are a daughter, Pamela Piechocki of South Bend; a son, Terrance Goralski of South Bend; a stepson, Stanley Schneider of Mishawaka; two grandchildren; a sister, Regina Weisel of South Bend; and three brothers, Matthew, Frank and Jerome Goralczyk, all of South Bend.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in St. Casimir's Catholic Church. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday and 2 to 9 p.m. Sunday in St. Joseph Funeral Home, where a parish rosary will be said at 7:30 p.m. Sunday. Mrs. Schneider was a member of the St. Ann Society, Civic Club and Club 53, all of the church. Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Joseph County Cancer Society.
