Gertrude J. (Dombrose) Juhre

HUNTLEY - Gertrude J. (Dombrose) Juhre, 77, of Huntley and a former 45-year resident of Arlington Heights, died Wednesday, Feb. 2, 2005, at Sherman Hospital in Elgin. She was born June 15, 1927, in South Bend, Ind. She was a longtime member of St. Mark Lutheran Church and taught Sunday school for 10 years. She also was a volunteer at Northwest Community Hospital.

Survivors include two sons, David (Maria) Juhre and Jeff (Carolyn) Juhre; a granddaughter, Danielle Juhre; and a sister, Arlene (Norman) Zinn. She was preceded in death by her husband, Russell H. Juhre; and two sisters, Louise and Anna.

The visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 4, at Oehler Funeral Home, 2000 E. Northwest Highway, Arlington Heights. Her body will lie in state from 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 5, until the service at 11 a.m. at St. Mark Lutheran Church, 200 S. Wille, Mount Prospect. Interment will be in Memory Gardens in Arlington Heights. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Heart Association. For information, call the funeral home at (847) 253-5423.
