Gloria Lelia (Davis) Harris

Services for 57, of 503 N. Eddy 7:45 p.m. Friday Lelia Harris, St., who died at Memorial Hospital on  Aug 30, 1985, will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in Clark's Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery. Friends may call from 5 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral nome.

Mrs. Harris was a member of Grace A.M.E. Church, the Senior Choir of the church and the Inspirational Choir. Mrs., Harris was born on Oct. 12, 1927, in South Bend, and was a lifelong area resident.

She is survived by five daughters, Karen Lax of of South Bend, Judith Harris and Jaunita Massie, both of Springfield, Ohio, Gloria Harris of Mansfield, Ohio, and Denise Harris of Cincinnati, Ohio; two sons, Luther Harris Jr. and Michael Harris, both of South Bend; a stepdaughter, Carolyn Lee White of Chicago; 11 grandchildren; a great-grandchild; eight sisters, Faye Gene Cannady, Lillian' Stokes, Betty Thomas, Willa Lottie, Carol Powell, Louise Jenkins and Sandra Davis, all of South Bend, and Jaunita Harris of Dennison, Texas; and four brothers, Leon "Brother". Davis, Eugene "Sonny" Davis and Jewell Davis, all of South Bend, and David Davis of Chicago.
