Adeline Agnes Ciula (Van Paris) - Class Of 1945 VIEW PROFILE

Adelyn A. (Ciula) Van Paris

Services for Adelyn A. Van Paris, 57, of 24222 U.S. 20, who died early Thursday morning in her home, will be conducted at 10 a.m. Monday in St. John the Baptist Catholic Church.

Burial will follow in Highland Cemetery. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday and from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday in the Kaniewski and Sons Funeral Home, where the parish rosary will be at 7:30 p.m. Sunday.

Moose Lodge Womens Auxiliary 1057, of which she was a member, will conduct a memorial service at 7 p.m. Sunday In the funeral home. She was with Torrtngton for 20 years and was currently working for the Bendix Corp. Guidance Systems Division, Mishawaka Operations.

Born on Dec. 16, 1928, in South Bend, she was a lifetime area resident. Surviving are a daughter, Kathleen Sharpe of Brownsburg, Ind.; three sons, Jack L of Mill Valley, Calif., J. Scott and Jeffrey P. Van Paris, both of South Bend; five grandchildren; two sisters, Helen Leopold and Sally Jaworsld, both of South Bend; and two brothers, Joseph Shula and Peter Ciula, both of South Bend

She was a member of the Professional Secretaries International River Bend Chapter, a past president of the River Bend Secretaries Chapter, and was the 1982 Secretary of the Year. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
