Virginia (Andrysiak) Strozewski

SOUTH BEND - Virginia Strozewski, 89, died at 8:30 AM Wednesday, January 9, 2008, in the Holy Cross Care & Rehabilitation Center. She was born to the late Frank and Mary (Blaszczak) Andrysiak on May 13, 1918, in South Bend, IN, and was a lifelong resident.

Along with her parents, three sisters, Genevieve G. Kowalski, Dorothy Kitkowski and Eleanor Pease, and four brothers, Walter, Alfred, Frank and Richard Andrysiak, also preceded her in death.

Mrs. Strozewski retired in 1980 from the Raco Corporation, after 30 years of employment.

On September 25, 1948, she married Walter "Doc" Strozewski in St. Casimir Catholic Church in South Bend, IN. He died on September 15, 1989.

She is survived by several nieces and nephews and their families. Mrs. Strozewski was a lifelong member of St. Casimir parish, was a member of the Golden Cluster at St. Hedwig Catholic Church and the Raco Retiree Club.
