Clarence O. Kelley

SOUTH BEND - Clarence O. Kelley, 67, of Flint, Mich., formerly of South Bend, died at 11:30 a.m. Sunday in St. Joseph Hospital, Flint. He retired from General Motors Corp. Buick division 1 Flint. He was born July 17, 1925, in Pine Bluff, Ark. Mr. Kelley lived in the area for 25 years.

He married Bernice Mayes. She survives with three daughters, Juanita Scott of South Bend and Ophelia White Mercury, Nev., Emma Gray of Flint; three sons, Clarence Jr. of Wilmington, N.C., John of Flint and Donald of Las Vegas; 14 grand-children; six great grandchildren; his mother, Mary Kelley of South Bend; and a brother, John H. Jr.of South Bend.

Services will be at 11 a.m. today in Mount Mariah Missionary Baptist Church, Flint. Burial will be in River Rest Cemetery, Flint. Friends may call an hour before services in the church. House of Spencer Mortuary, Flint, is in charge of arrangements
