Elsie Ann (Gyorkos) Santarossa

Indianapolis - 93, passed away Friday, April 6, 2018. She was born May 25, 1924 in South Bend, IN to the late Victor and Elsie Gyorkos. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Mario Santarossa; daughter-in-law, Mary Jane Santarossa; and her sisters and brother. She was a long time member of St. Matthew Catholic Church and a loving wife of 62 years, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.

She is survived by her children, Pamela Krull (George), Teresa Piggott Kovey (Michael), David Santarossa, John Santarossa (Karen), Marie Walden (David), and Rob Santarossa (Michelle); 20 grandchildren; and 18 ¼ great grandchildren.

Visitation will be 10 - 11 am Thursday at St. Matthew Catholic Church, 4100 E 56th St. Her Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 am Thursday at the church with private burial to follow at Calvary Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to: St. Matthew Catholic Church or Riley Hospital.
