Steve R. Gergacz

SOUTH BEND Steve R. Gergacz, 63, of 510 S. 31st St., died p.m. Tuesday at Memorial Hospital. Mr. Gergacz retired from the sity of Notre Dame. He was born Oct. 8, 1926, in South Bend and was a lifelong area resident.

On Aug. 21, 1946, in South Bend, he married Gertrude Kohler. She survives, with a daughter, Trudy Gergacz of South Bend; a son, Steve A. of South Bend; and his mother and stepfather, Mary and Lloyd Henderson of South Bend.

He was a member of Moose Lodge 58, National Rifle Association and Fishing Club of America. He was an Army veteran of World War II.
