Irene A. (Bartkowiak) Tuszynski

SOUTH BEND Irene A. Tuszynski, 65, of 729 S. Meade St., died at 12:45 a.m. Friday in her home. She was a former employee of Meridian Nursing Center-Cardinal. Born June 16, 1925, in South Bend, she was a lifelong area resident.

On Nov. 6, 1948, in South Bend, as Irene Bartkowiak, she married Raphael Tuszynski. He died Nov. 15, 1971. Surviving are a son, David of Bedford, Ind.; a foster son, Leo Szymanowski of South Bend; and a sister, Rita Andrzejewski of South Bend.

Mrs. Tuszynski was a member of Harvest House of St. Adalberts Church and Golden Cluster Club of St. Hedwig's Church..
