Helen Ann (Retek) Lehman

SOUTH BEND - Helen Ann Lehman, 89, of South Bend, passed away on June 7, 2014, in her residence. Helen was born in Milwaukee, WI, on May 9, 1925, to the late Alex and Barbara (Kara) Retek Sr. Helen married Paul Lehman in 1946 in South Bend. He preceded her in death in 1991. She was an Inspector at Bendix Corp. in South Bend. Helen found great joy in painting.

Helen is survived by her daughter, Arlene (Tom) Powell of Granger. She was the grandmother of 3, Tim (Patty) Walker, Tony (Cathy) Walker and Chris (Alicia) Walker. She had 4 great-grandsons and 1 great-granddaughter. Helen was preceded in death by her son, Arthur Paul Lehman, and by her brother, Alex Retek Jr.

There will be no public services. A private graveside service will be held at the Riverview Cemetery in South Bend. Bubb Funeral Chapel assisted the family with arrangements.
