Robert George Montgomery

SOUTH BEND - Robert G. Montgomery, 67, of Indianapolis, formerly of South Bend, died Thursday in St. Vincent Hospital, Indianapolis. Mr. Montgomery was a registered pharmacist, retiring in 1988 from Hooks Drugs. He was born Feb. 18, 1926, in South Bend.

On May 17, 1947, he married Marian R. Wilson. She survives with four sons, Michael L. of South Bend, Patrick G. of Hopkinsville, Ky., Timothy R. of Germany and Dennis B. of Zionsville, Ind.; two grandchildren; and two sisters, Betty Nosko of South Bend and Delores Huff of Lake City, Fla.

He was an Army veteran of World War II and the Korean War. He was a member of Clay United Methodist Church.

There will be no services. Leppert & Hurt Mortuary, Indianapolis, is in charge of arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Red Cross
