Jane E. (Kosiak) Dobrucki
December 30, 1924 - June 6, 2023

South Bend - Jane Dobrucki, age 98, passed away peacefully on June 6, 2023 after a brief illness at Memorial Hospital surrounded by her loving children. Jane was born on December 30, 1924 in South Bend to the late Roman and Henrietta Kosiak. On July 06, 1946, Jane married the love her life for 66 years, Leonard Dobrucki. Jane was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard, and a sister, Geraldine Cyman. Surviving is a sister Dorothy Lindorf.

Left to cherish Jane's memory are her children, Bonnie (Mike) Dawson, Susan (Jeff) Nemeth, and Terry (Sandy) Dobrucki; grandchildren, Shannon (Amy) Dobrucki, Lindsay Marker, Kristi (Brian) Flaherty, Kelly (Brian) Archambeault, Dr. Kevin (Caitlin) Nemeth, Andrew Nemeth, and Ryan (Chelsea) Nemeth, and 8 great-grandchildren.

Jane worked for JC Penney for many years. She was also a member of the Sisters Auxiliary of St. Adalbert. Jane will be greatly missed by her family and many friends and she will always be remembered for her big dimples, constant smile, and kindness to others. Family gatherings were a very important part of her life. She loved everyone she met, and no one more than her family. Also, she never met a sweet treat that she did not like.

Visitation will be held 2:00pm-8:00pm, Tuesday, June 13, 2023 at St. Joseph Funeral Home, Mayflower Rd. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00am, Wednesday, June 14, 2023 at Holy Family Catholic Church with an hour visitation prior to the mass. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, South Bend.
