Edward J. Kenna, 72, of 24989 Layton Road, South Bend, Ind., died at hfs residence at 10 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 21, after an illness. Mr. Kenna was bom on Dec. 9, 1924, in South Bend, to Joseph and Julia (Gergich) Kenna.

He was married on Aug. 7, 1965, In South Bend, to Lois Fouty, who survives. Edward is also survived by two stepdaughters, Betty Neumann and her husband John of Alpharetta, Ga., and Beverly Fisher of South Bend; a grandson, Russell Edward Fisher of South Bend; a great-granddaughter, Samantha Nicole Fisher of South Bend; a brother, William Kenna and his wife Virginia of South Bend; and a sister, Rose Mary Megyse, also of South Bend.

Edward J. Kenna retired after 32 years as a deliveryman for Ollnger Distributing Company of South Bend. He served with the U.S. Navy during World War II.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 26, at Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 10770 McKinley Hwy., Osceola, Ind., where visitation will be held between 2 to 4 and 8 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday. Burial will take place In Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
