Viola (Gerbasich) Cegielski

Viola Cegielski, 55, of 1613 Magnolia, died Monday, Dec 29, 1980, in St. Joseph's Hospital after a lengthy illness. She was born on June 18, 1925, in South Bend, and had lived here all her life.

On May 1, 1948, in South Bend, she married Mathew Cegielski, who survives. Also surviving are a daughter, Miss Karen Mane Cegielski at home; two sons, Gregory Paul of Kalamazoo and Terry Paul of West Lafayette; a sister. Miss Mary Jane Gerbasich of South Bend; two brothers, Frank Gerbasich and Victor Gerbasich, both of South Bend; and her mother, Mrs. Mary Gerbasich of South Bend.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Our Lady of Hungary Catholic Church. Rev. Derrick Sneyd, former associate pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the Guisinger Colonial ChapeL She was a member of Our Lady of Hungary Church and the' Home and School Association
