Margaret Ann (Call) Root

Aug.5, 1924 – March 18, 2013 SOUTH BEND — Margaret Ann Root, 88, of South Bend, died at her home on Monday, March 18th. Margaret was born August 5, 1924, to the late Luther and Ethel (Hilton) Call. She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Ruth Longbrake and Mary Louise Call. On April 6, 1947, Margaret married Fred A. Root in South Bend. Fred died on May 9, 2004.

She is survived by one sister, Jeanette Borders, and several cousins, nieces and nephews. Margaret was a member of the Mayflower Baptist Church.

Visitation for Margaret will be held on Friday from 5-7 at the Hahn Funeral Home, 505 W.8th St., Mishawaka, where funeral services will be held immediately following visitation, at 7 pm.Pastor Steve Mack of Trinity Evangelical Free Church will officiate.Burial will be at St.Joseph Memorial Park, Granger.
