Frank S. Zalas, 60, of 4942 Scenic Drive, died at 6:25 a.m. Tuesday, Jun 14, 1983, in his home after a lengthy illness. He was employed at Griffin's Outboard Marine, Inc., as a department manager.
Born on Sept. 2, 1922, in South Bend, he lived here all his life. On Sept. 27, 1947, in Fostoria, Ohio, he married Rita Faeth. She survives with three daughters, Mrs. Gean Geppert of Toledo, Ohio, Mrs. Patricia Slisz of Mesa, Ariz., and Ms. Randi Zalas of Columbus, Ind.; a son, Rick of South Bend; and two grandchildren.
The St. Joseph Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
