Alice Z. (Sobczyk) Prentkowski

Alice Z. Prentkowski, 91, passed away at 6:15 am, Wednesday, December 23, 2015 in the Sanctuary at St. Paul's. Alice was born May 27, 1924 in South Bend to the late Jacob and Zuzanna (Gaik) Sobczyk. On October 8, 1960 Alice married the late Ernest Prentkowski. Alice was also preceded in death by a daughter, Joyce Marie Prentkowski.

Survivors include daughter, Lisa (Bernie) Brennan; sister, Agnes Jenczewski; grandchildren, Abigail Brennan and David Brennan; great-grandchild, Emmerik Brennan; and several nieces and nephews.

Alice worked for Studebaker for 21 years. She was a parishioner at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11am on Monday, December 28, 2015 in St. John the Baptist Catholic Church with visitation one hour prior in the church. ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower Rd. is assisting the family. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery. Memorial Contributions may be made to St. John the Baptist Catholic Church.
