Emery Kovatch - Class Of 1942 VIEW PROFILE


Emery S. Kovatch

Funeral services for Emery S. Kovatch, 1114 Chimes Blvd., who died Friday, Nov 30, 1956, of carbon monoxide poison in his gasoline station at 401 N. Michigan St., will be conducted at 10 a.m. Monday. The place is not determined. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery. Friends may call in the Orvis Funeral Home.

Mr. Kovatch was born in South Bend Sept. 24, 1924, and lived here all his life. He was married in Mishawaka in 1949 to Lucille Britenback, who survives. He also leaves a son, Danny, at home; a stepson, Robert J. Britenback; four brothers, Ernest and Charles of South Bend; John, of Monticello, Ind., and George, in Texas, and a sister, Mrs. Robert Eastburn of South Bend.

He was a veteran of World War II and was a member of Bendix Aviation Post 284, American Legion.
