John P. Kosinski

SOUTH BEND - John P. Kosinski, 87, passed away at 12:54 p.m. on June 14, 2011, in Miller's Merry Manor, Walkerton. John was born on January 31, 1924, to the late John and Edna (Marchelicz) Kosinski Sr. He was preceded in death by his sister, Helen Sparazynski; and by his brother, Raymond Kosinski.

On September 25, 1948, John married Henrietta (Zmyslo) Kosinski, who survives along with their three sons, Michael Kosinski of Arlington Heights, IL, Andrew (Kimberly) Kosinski of Walkerton, IN, and John Kosinski of Indianapolis, IN; three grandchildren, Kelsey Kosinski, Jacob Kosinski and Sarah Kosinski; and by his brother, Alfred (Martha) Kosinski of South Bend.

John honorably served his country in the United States Air Corps during WW II. He was a tool designer at Bendix until he retired in 1986. He was a parishioner of St. Adalbert Catholic Church, and a member of the St. Joseph Young Men's Society. John enjoyed gardening and spending time with his grandchildren
