Sylvia (Konstanty) Shellen

Sylvia Shellen, 60, of 51 16 Mayfair Place, died at 4 p m. Monday, Oct 29, 1984, of an aparent heart attack while driving in the 2000 block of North Bendix Drive.  Mrs. Shellen was a clerk at Kmart.

Born Feb 10, 1924, tn South Bend, she was a lifetime area resident. On July 7, 1946, in South Bend as Sylvia Konstanty, she married William J. Shellen, who survives. Asso surviving are a daughter, Debra Gibbs of Louisiana; a son, Mark, al home; three sisters, Sophie Serencse, Helen Busklewlcz and Verna Coffman, all of South Bend; and two brothers, Alex and Anthony Kruk, both of South Bend.

Services will be al 11 a m. Friday in Holy Family Catholic Church, and burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 9 pm. Thursday in St. Joseph Funeral Home, where a parish rosary will be said at 8 p m.

Mrs. Shellen was a member of the Rosary Society of the church
