Lucille (Gadowski) Barczykowski

Foley, AL – Lucille Barczykowski, 85, passed away at 4:05pm on Wednesday, April 28, 2010 in Robertsdale Healthcare Center in Robertsdale, AL. Lucille was born on June 13, 1924 in South Bend to the late George and Martha (Kubacki) Gadowski. On October 23, 1948 in St. Adalbert Catholic Church, Lucille married Matthew Barczykowski and he passed away on June 26, 2005.

Lucille is survived by her sons, Martin Barczykowski of Glendale, Arizona, and Mark (Ann) Barczykowski of Orange Beach, Alabama; grandchildren, Brenton Barczykowski of Lexington, Kentucky and Robert Pauwels of Buchanan, Michigan; and sisters, Gertrude Vargyas, and Mildred Kobylarek.

She was preceded in death by a third sister Eleanor Tyler.

Visitation will be from 4:00pm to 8:00pm on Thursday, May 6, 2010 in ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower Rd., where a Rosary will be prayed at 4:30pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00am on Friday, May 7, 2010 in St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. Entombment will follow in Resurrection Gardens Mausoleum in St. Joseph Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. For those who are unable to attend the Funeral Mass, condolences for the family may be made at www.sjfh.net.
