SGT Myron Jay Bieber

Myron J. Bieber, age 92, of Macedonia, OH went home to be with his Savior Monday, February 6, 2017.

He was the beloved husband of the late Maryland Ruth (nee Campbell) and Joan M. (nee Peckinpaugh), loving father of M. David Bieber, Gerald J. (Carol) Bieber and Laurel S. (Gary, deceased) Benyo, dear grandfather of Andrew (Ann) Bieber, Victoria and Julia Benyo and Amber (Keith) Luchka, great grandfather of Maggie and Zoey Bieber, loving companion of Eleanor Newcomer, dear brother of Jane (John) Thompson, Dean (Marge) Bieber and the late Marilyn (Arthur) Shearman and Ray (Ann) Bieber, dear uncle and great uncle of many.

Myron served his country in the U.S. Army during WWII as a Staff Sgt. in the 1256th Engineers Combat Battalion.

He retired as Vice President of Engineering for Cleveland Pneumatic Co.. He was also very active with Gideons International where he served as Treasurer for the Cleveland Southeast Camp. Myron was also a long-standing member and deacon of Bible Baptist Church of Bedford.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Gideons International, www2.gideons.org. Friends will be received 2-4PM & 6-8PM THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 9, 2017 at JOHNSON-ROMITO FUNERAL HOME, 521 BROADWAY AVE., BEDFORD, OH (440-232-1441)

Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Friday at Bible Baptist Church of Bedford, 20 Avalon Drive, Bedford, OH. Interment will follow at Crown Hill Memorial Park, Twinsburg, OH.
