Chester M. Zmyslo
Chester M. Zmyslo, 60, of 424 S. Camden, died at 11 a.m. Sunday in his home, after suffering an apparent heart attack.He was a quality control supervisor at A.M. General Corp. He was born on March 22, 1922, in South Bend, and was a lifelong area resident
On July 12, 1947, in South Bend, he married Adeline Slaby, who survives. Other survivors include eight sisters, Mrs. Sophie Kokot, Mrs. Bernice Wiec-zorek, Mrs. Henrietta Kosinski and Mrs. Theresa Kalicki, all of South Bend, Sister M. Joanelle of Lavonia, Mich., Mrs. Alice Bystry and Mrs. Wanda Benjamin, both of Mishawaka, and Mrs. Maryann Young of Gary; three brothers, Joseph, Richard (Mike) and Theodore, all of South Bend; and his mother, Mrs. Adeline Zmyslo of South Bend.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in St. Adalberts Catholic Church, with Rev. Eugene J. Kazmierczak, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. Friends may call until 9 p.m. today in the St. Joseph Funeral Home where a parish rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m.
He was a World War II Army veteran, and a member of Pulaski Post 357 American Legion and the St. Joseph Young Mens Society.
